Data Scientist, Payments Intelligence

About the Role

Use data science to optimize payment authorization rates and reduce costs for Stripe merchants. You will build ML models that route transactions intelligently, analyze payment network behavior, and design experiments that directly impact Stripe's revenue and merchant success.

Requirements

• MS in Statistics, Computer Science, or quantitative field
• 3+ years of applied data science experience
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with optimization or operations research is a plus
• Fintech or payments industry experience preferred
