Terms & Conditions

1.1 Definitions

"Company" means SnapDrum Ltd, trading as The AI Internship, registered in England & Wales (No. 16337045) with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

"Participant" means the individual purchasing and undertaking the Internship Programme.

"Programme" means the paid, remote internship placement (3–6 months) arranged by the Company with a partner startup in London or San Francisco.

"Fee" means the price advertised on the Website and paid via Stripe.

"Partner Startup" means the third-party organisation providing day-to-day work experience.

"Website" means https://theaiinternship.com.

1.2 Service Description

The Company sources, vets and administers remote internship projects with Partner Startups, provides onboarding materials, a named mentor, fortnightly progress reviews, and a completion certificate. The Programme is educational and does not create an employment, worker or agency relationship between Participant and Company or Partner Startup.

1.3 Eligibility

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Sufficient English proficiency (B2 CEFR or higher).
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and a laptop capable of running required tooling.
  • Legal right to perform remote work from Participant's country of residence.

1.4 Application & Acceptance

(a) Booking is complete only when Stripe confirms payment of the Fee and the Company emails written acceptance.

(b) The Company may refuse any application at its absolute discretion; in that case the Fee is refunded in full.

1.5 Cooling-off & Refund Policy

  1. Statutory right (UK) – Because this is a B2C distance-service contract, Participants resident in the UK or EU have 14 days to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
  2. Early start waiver – By ticking the box at checkout, the Participant expressly requests that the Company begin Programme allocation immediately and acknowledges that statutory refund rights may be pro-rated to cover services already supplied (CCR Reg.36).
  3. Satisfaction guarantee – Beyond statutory rights, the Company offers a "no-questions" refund within the first 30 calendar days of placement if the Participant is dissatisfied.
  4. Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe within 14 days of written approval.

1.6 Participant Obligations

  • Submit accurate personal information and a truthful CV.
  • Attend agreed meetings, meet deadlines and behave professionally.
  • Keep Partner Startup information confidential.
  • Comply with all applicable laws (including export controls and data protection).

1.7 No Employment Status

The Programme is work experience alone. Participants are not employees or workers and are not entitled to wages, National Minimum Wage, benefits, or visa sponsorship.

1.8 Intellectual Property

Work product created during the Programme is the property of the Partner Startup unless otherwise agreed in writing. Participant assigns any rights it may have to the Partner Startup and waives moral rights (UK CDPA 1988 s.87).

1.9 Limitation of Liability

  • The Company's total liability (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) is capped at the total Fee paid.
  • The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss of earnings arising from or in connection with the Programme.
  • Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

1.10 Indemnity

Participant indemnifies the Company and Partner Startups against claims, damages and costs arising from Participant's breach of these T&C or applicable law.

1.12 Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to war, pandemic, power outage or internet failure).

1.13 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These T&C are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

1.14 Changes to Terms

The Company may update these T&C for legitimate business reasons; material changes will be emailed to current Participants with at least 14 days' notice.
