Automate your workflow with Cowork

Building the product is one kind of work. The work around the product, researching, drafting, organising files, pulling things together, is another, and this lesson is about handing that second kind to an AI collaborator instead of doing it by hand.

Cowork is Anthropic's agentic app built for knowledge work rather than coding. Where Claude Code changes your app, Cowork does the surrounding tasks: it can work across your files and documents, carry out multi-step jobs, and produce real output while you direct rather than execute. Think of the things that eat your week around any project, turning messy notes into a structured brief, gathering and summarising information, drafting the first version of a document, and imagine handing each of those to a capable assistant who does the first pass.

The point of teaching this inside a build course is that the directing skill transfers. The same discipline that makes you good at briefing Lovable and Claude Code, being specific, scoping the task, checking the result, is exactly what makes you good at Cowork. You are not learning a separate tool so much as applying one skill to a new surface.

You will set up one workflow you actually use, not a toy example. Pick a task you genuinely repeat around your capstone or your work, and build a repeatable Cowork routine for it, so you leave the session with something that saves you time next week and every week after. That "one real workflow" is the deliverable, because a habit you keep is worth more than a demo you forget.
