Ship a new feature
This is a short lesson with a real purpose: put your new feature live and tie it back to the capstone, so that Week 2, like Week 1, ends with a visible ship rather than a change sitting only on your screen.
The mechanics are the ones you already know from Week 1's shipping lesson: publish, then test as a stranger. Open your live URL from another device or hand it to someone, and confirm the new feature works there, not just in your build preview. The reason to repeat this every week is that "it worked when I built it" and "it works live for someone else" are different claims, and only the second one counts. Shipping weekly also keeps the psychological momentum going: you are never more than a week from having something new and real to show.
Then connect it back to the whole. Your capstone is now version one plus a directed upgrade. Look at it against your seed's Demo Day target and note what the next layers, automation and evaluation, need to add. You are building one thing, deliberately, a piece at a time, and this is the moment each week where you step back and see it as a single growing product rather than a pile of separate exercises.
