MPB is the world's largest platform for buying, selling, and trading used cameras and photography equipment — operating across the UK, US, and Europe. Their product team had built AI-powered listing tools, but without clear success criteria or evaluation frameworks it was difficult to measure whether model changes were actually improving outcomes — or silently introducing regressions into listings at scale.

What we did

A cross-functional cohort across product, ops, and merchandising teams shipped internal AI Evals and tools that compressed listing, pricing, and content workflows from days to hours. Workflow-specific labs on prompt evals, regression suites, and golden datasets — applied to MPB's own production AI features.

Sessions combined live instruction with hands-on work inside MPB's actual product environment — so everything learned was immediately applicable to real listings and workflows.

The outcome

Listing throughput improved 5× and the team shipped 14 production tools during and immediately after the programme. The team now owns AI quality assessments end-to-end — without relying on external consultants.
